Account Manager
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Account Manager to support our national accounts on our direct clients in the staffing space. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for assigned clients, overseeing requisition intake, managing the delivery process, and driving client satisfaction and account growth. You will work closely with both internal recruiting teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful fulfillment, while proactively identifying new business opportunities within existing relationships. Your ability to build trust, provide white-glove service, and execute with urgency will directly impact revenue, gross profit, and client retention.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned national accounts to achieve revenue and growth goals.
• Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships with hiring managers, project managers, superintendents, and other key stakeholders.
• Qualify new requisitions and manage the intake process to ensure efficient, successful fulfillment.
• Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle in partnership with internal recruiting, including resume submittals, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and closing candidates.
• Identify and secure upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts to drive revenue growth.
• Track account performance and provide regular updates on metrics, progress, and client feedback.
• Provide high-touch support to clients, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness throughout every stage of the engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on sourcing strategies, fulfillment timelines, and service expectations.
• Monitor and manage account-level revenue and gross profit performance against monthly targets.
• Respond to urgent client requests and escalations, including after-hours support as needed.
Recruitment Partnership
• Work closely with recruiting leadership to align fulfillment efforts with client goals.
• Analyze hiring trends, pipeline activity, and metrics to optimize sourcing and submittal strategies.
• Guide recruiting teams on role priorities, feedback trends, and fulfillment pacing.
What You Bring
• 3+ years of national account management experience, ideally within a high-volume staffing environment.
• Proven ability to exceed sales or growth targets through relationship development and strategic account management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a client-first approach to service and resolution.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ATS systems.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Your Business Impact
• Revenue Growth – You will directly contribute to increased revenue by expanding relationships within key direct and MSP accounts, uncovering new requisitions, and driving consistent fulfillment.
• Gross Profit Performance – Your oversight of margin integrity, candidate delivery, and speed-to-fill will have a measurable impact on gross profit across assigned accounts.
• Client Retention – By providing proactive, high-touch service and becoming a trusted point of contact, you'll increase client satisfaction and help secure long-term partnerships.
• Operational Efficiency – Your ability to streamline communication, prioritize requisitions, and coordinate with recruiting ensures faster response times and better resource allocation.
• Strategic Account Expansion – You will identify opportunities to grow existing accounts—whether by tapping into new departments, gaining access to more hiring managers, or increasing requisition volume—positioning Equiliem for sustainable, scalable growth.
