Auctions at Showplace 

Admin Intern Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Admin Intern to support our auction house team with administrative tasks and auction operations. The role will last for 6-months and is compensated at the rate of $17/hour. In this role, you’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience while contributing to key aspects of client services, post-auction procedures, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage incoming client inquiries for auction items and assist with drafting condition reports, ensuring auction preparedness
  • Assist with inventory management and post-auction processes
  • Assist with bidder approval on our various auction platforms
  • Answer and direct phone calls to field customer questions; respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Complete administrative projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with auction AuctionFlex is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Interest in the art, antiques, or auction industry.
