Mobile Automotive Diagnostic Technician

Martys Mobile Mechanics is looking for professional automotive technicians to join our growing team here in Webster, TX. This position offers a blend of shop-based repairs and mobile service calls. We have a fully equipped shop where customers can bring their vehicles, and we also provide on-site mobile service—that's what sets us apart from traditional repair facilities.

What You'll Need:

• Experience: Proven automotive repair and diagnostic experience (minimum 3 years)
• Modern Vehicle Knowledge: Experience working on newer model vehicles with advanced electronics, computerized systems, and modern diagnostic equipment
• Tools & Transportation: Your own reliable vehicle and personal tools are a must for travel to service calls
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle systems, troubleshooting, and repair procedures
• Work Ethic: Commitment to quality service and attention to detail
• Independence: Ability to work efficiently whether in the shop or in the field
• Customer Service: Professional communication skills when interacting with clients
• References: Verifiable references that show your expertise and reliability (strongly preferred)

Diesel experience is a plus, but not required. If you're comfortable with today's technology-packed vehicles and can adapt to working in different environments, you'll fit right in.

Compensation & Details:

• Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per billable hour (contract basis)
• Hours: Typically 20-40 hours per week
• Schedule: Day shifts, on-call availability, and occasional weekends as needed
• Location: Webster, TX 77598
