Job Description

SkyBridge Aviation is seeking a skilled Avionics Troubleshooter with 3+ years of corporate/business jet avionics troubleshooting experience . This role requires an FAA A&P license and experience performing pitot-static testing . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining avionics systems, including navigation, communication, autopilot, and pitot-static systems, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics and electrical system issues on corporate/business jets.
• Perform pitot-static testing and transponder checks to ensure system accuracy and FAA compliance.
• Repair, modify, and install avionics components, including FMS, ADS-B, TCAS, SATCOM, and Wi-Fi systems.
• Conduct functional and operational tests on avionics systems to verify performance and airworthiness.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to identify and resolve system discrepancies.
• Work closely with flight crews, maintenance teams, and engineers to resolve avionics issues efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on avionics and electrical systems.
• Accurately document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in avionics maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on avionics troubleshooting experience on corporate/business jets (e.g., Gulfstream, Bombardier Challenger/Global, Dassault Falcon, Cessna Citation, Embraer).
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with avionics systems, including navigation, communication, autopilot, and electrical systems.
• Experience performing pitot-static system testing and transponder checks required.
• Must have own set of avionics tools.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
