ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a customer-focused Box Office Attendant to provide exceptional service by handling ticket sales, inquiries, and event information. You will manage transactions, reservations, and ensure a smooth guest experience. If you excel in communication, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a passion for hospitality, we’d love to have you on our team! You will report directly to Box Office Lead and Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Duties may include ticket scanning, cashier, will call, guest list, and customer service positions.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions covering box office equipment, software, ticketing platforms, POS systems, customer service guidelines and venue requirements.
  • Efficiently deal with a variety of payment methods and ticket types and accurately reconcile all sales and ticketing transactions.
  • Identify customer issues and contact supervisors to resolve unanswered questions.
  • Assist customers with general venue information
  • Keep area clean and organized
  • Arrive at designated call time for pre-event meetings and report to your supervisor upon completion of shift.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Flexible schedules required - shifts include nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Previous box office experience and Certificate of Fitness F-03/04 license holder a plus
  • Sales, customer service or related experience
  • Must be adept using computers and mobile devices
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail, quality and accuracy.
  • Must act professionally, friendly, respectful, and remain calm while interacting with a variety of clientele, co-workers and customers

COMPENSATION

Hourly rate for this role is $18.50.
