Job Title: Consumer Insights Manager

Location: San Antonio Texas

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8.00 to 5.00 pm.

Main responsibilities:

Support Foundational Research:

  1. Lead and manage consumer research projects focused on Understanding & Attitudes (U&A) and segmentation within the consumer and demand space.
  2. Use insights from research to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and potential growth opportunities.

Implement go-to-market strategies – Leverage Shopper Research:

  1. Conduct and analyze shopper behavior research, including purchase structure, consumer decision tree (CDT), Path-to-Purchase (P2P), and shopper surveys.
  2. Translate research findings into actionable strategies to optimize shopper marketing and in-store product positioning.

Day to day Research - Quantitative & Qualitative Research:

  • Review Past Research: Analyze and synthesize previous research findings to inform ongoing projects and innovation efforts.
  • Build SharePoint Access: Manage the development and organization of SharePoint access for easy sharing and collaboration on research findings.
  • Pack Design Graphics Research: Lead both qualitative and quantitative research focused on packaging design and graphics, understanding consumer perceptions, preferences, and usability.
  • Innovation Testing (Idea/Concept/Product): Oversee innovation testing for new ideas, concepts, and product prototypes, including concept evaluation, product feasibility, and consumer feedback integration.

Innovation Pipeline, Workshops, and Commercialization:

  • Support the innovation pipeline by leading and participating in workshops to develop and refine new product ideas.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, R&D, and sales teams to ensure the commercialization of successful product innovations.
  • Provide insights that guide product development and help define market entry strategies.
  • Lead the portfolio lifecycle management continuously monitoring adjustment to product to drive profitable revenue growth

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Manage and analyze data from a variety of sources, Syndicated- including POS (Point of Sale) data, household panel dashboards, IRI, and Nielsen.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), competitive landscape, trends, and consumer insights.
  • Deliver actionable analytics to inform business decisions and strategies.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in 5+ Consumer Packaged Goods Marketing, Product Marketing, Consumer Insights and Analytics or other areas related to innovation, positioning, whitespaces, commercialization and go-to-market strategy development.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS) and reporting platforms such as IRI and Nielsen.
  • Familiarity with household panel data, POS data analysis, and dashboard reporting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint or similar collaboration tools.
  • English Required
  • Spanish Preferred
