The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Business & Corporate Philanthropy to lead engagement with the business community and generate sponsorships in support of the Federation. This position represents a unique opportunity to build enduring partnerships that align mission with brand value, fueling the Federation’s impact on Jewish life locally, in Israel, and around the world.

This role serves as the Federation’s primary ambassador to the business and professional community, cultivating relationships with corporate sponsors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders. Through this work, the position helps ensure the financial sustainability of key events and initiatives while strengthening the Federation’s presence in the broader business landscape.

Role and Impact

The Director of Business & Corporate Philanthropy plays a central role in leading the Federation’s Business & Professional (B&P) Division, cultivating both individual gifts and corporate sponsorships that enhance the organization’s visibility, reach, and philanthropic revenue. The position engages the private sector through strategic outreach, compelling storytelling, and mutually beneficial partnership opportunities that support the Federation’s mission and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Sponsorships

• Solicit and secure five- and six-figure corporate sponsorships to underwrite events, programs, and initiatives
• Create and deliver customized sponsorship proposals with clear ROI and alignment to partner branding goals
• Cultivate and steward a portfolio of business professionals and corporate leaders, generating both individual and business-related contributions
• Conduct strategic outreach and in-person solicitations, with an emphasis on multi-year commitments and sustained engagement

Strategic Engagement & Program Oversight

• Direct the operations and growth of the Business & Professional Division, including volunteer engagement and campaign performance
• Collaborate with internal marketing and events teams to design mission-driven programs that resonate with the business community and offer sponsorship value
• Represent the Federation within local business networks, chambers of commerce, and partner organizations to increase visibility and forge new connections

Leadership & Internal Collaboration

• Identify and support lay leaders and volunteer committees to expand business philanthropy and corporate sponsorship efforts
• Work across departments—including development, finance, and events—to ensure the smooth execution of sponsorship deliverables and donor recognition
• Monitor and report on revenue outcomes, pipeline development, and donor engagement metrics

Thrive Here If You Have:

• A Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in fundraising, sponsorship development, or corporate partnerships
• Demonstrated success in securing five- and six-figure sponsorships or gifts
• Familiarity with the South Palm Beach County business community or strong local business ties preferred
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• High level of professionalism and strategic thinking
• Understanding of and appreciation for Jewish values and community life preferred
