The Opportunity

As an Event Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of a wide range of high-quality events for our clients and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Events & Marketing team, you will contribute to the coordination, planning, and execution of event activities — ensuring all operational elements are delivered seamlessly and with professionalism.

This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of event production and is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in events, marketing, or client engagement within a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, client meetings, exhibitions, activations, and team functions
  • Assist with pre-event logistics such as venue sourcing, supplier coordination, catering arrangements, transport scheduling, and guest communications
  • Provide on-the-day support at events, including registration, setup, guest liaison, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and distribute event materials and marketing collateral
  • Help maintain project documentation, checklists, timelines, and schedules
  • Assist in gathering feedback and post-event metrics to support reporting and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated and adaptable individual with a proactive attitude and a keen interest in events and client engagement. You should be equally comfortable managing logistics behind the scenes and representing the team at live events.

Key attributes include:

  • Prior experience in events, marketing, hospitality, or client services (internships and volunteer roles welcome)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach with a hands-on mindset
  • Flexibility to support events outside of regular working hours, with occasional travel as required
