Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Maple Grove MN. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Medical Device Manufacturing industry.

Pay Range: $35 - $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

1. Works cooperatively with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure project success.

2. Designs and coordinates standard engineering tests and experiments.

3. Designs, procures, and fabricates equipment tooling and fixtures.

4. Performs troubleshooting on new and existing products/process problems as related to design, material, or processes.

5. Summarizes, analyzes, and draws conclusions from test results.

6. Completes and manages Capital Equipment Request Authorizations (CERA’s).

7. Prepares standard reports/documents to communicate results to the technical community.

8. May lead cross-functional project teams.

9. Identifies, implements, and manages equipment requirements to support production goals.

10. Trains and/or provides work direction to operators/technicians.

Qualifications

2 Years with BS or 2 Years with MS

Automated process knowledge

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with manufacturing equipment including gantry systems.

2. Safety mindset with experience working with product builders.

3. Experience with electrochemical metal finishing processes.
