Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and animate UI elements, microinteractions, and transitions to enhance user experience.
  • Translate static designs and wireframes into dynamic, functional visual experiences.
  • Develop 2D and 3D animations for product storytelling, marketing campaigns, and immersive brand experiences.
  • Design and model 3D assets for use in animations, websites, and visual presentations.
  • Build interactive prototypes and animations using tools like Figma, After Effects, and Lottie.
  • Create motion graphics for product launches, social media, and digital content.
  • Support the creation and implementation of animated, interactive pages in Webflow (or collaborate closely with Webflow developers).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, design, and engineering teams to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Ensure consistency across all visual, motion, and interaction design systems.
  • Prepare and optimize files for developer handoff and performance across platforms.
  • Participate in reviews and iterate quickly based on feedback and performance data.
  • Stay current on trends in animation, 3D modeling, interactive design, and emerging creative technologies.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or interactive design.

  • Expertise in 2D and 3D animation, with a strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma for motion, design, prototyping, and collaboration.
  • Experience with 3D modeling and animation tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or Spline.
  • Experience using Lottie/Bodymovin to create lightweight, interactive animations.
  • Ability to prototype and translate interactive designs from tools like Figma into motion deliverables.
  • Solid grasp of design fundamentals including composition, color, and typography.
  • Demonstrated ability to create storyboards, style frames, and motion studies.
  • Experience designing for digital platforms including web, mobile, social, and product interfaces.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Up-to-date on motion design trends, interactive tools, and emerging creative technologies.
  • Bonus: Experience with Adobe Premiere, Unreal Engine, or Unity for immersive or interactive 3D work.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
