Pride Health is hiring a Nurse Supervisor to support our client’s medical facility in Rochester, NY . This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position: Nurse Supervisor

Location: Rochester, NY

Shift : Rotating 12x3 (36 hours/week) - Monday-Friday: E/N shifts

Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible ext.

Job Summary:

The Night Shift Supervisor (NSS) is responsible for managing staffing flow, addressing patient and family concerns, responding to employee issues, and overseeing hospital operations during off-hours. The role includes responding to code calls, assisting units with medication administration, and performing IV placements when needed. The NSS ensures supervisor responsibilities are handled in the absence of day shift leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee staffing flow across departments during off-shift hours
• Address patient, family, and employee concerns and issues
• Respond to code calls and assist with emergency situations
• Administer medications and place IVs when necessary
• Perform supervisory duties in the absence of day shift leadership

Requirements:

• Acute care hospital supervisory experience is required
• Floating between units is expected
• Must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday
• No local RN candidates within 75 miles of the facility
• Must be flexible with shift changes and call-offs
