BrandGuard is a fast-growing Californian based passive fire protection business, with ambition to grow its sales by 5X in the next 3 years. Part of the Tenmat Passive Fire Protection Group - a cluster of specialist companies committed to tackling fire safety across a range of sectors, applications, and global locations – this standalone business is looking for a Product and Inventory Logistics Operations Manager to help lead a small but growing logistics and supply chain team. The ideal candidate is fast-paced, organized, and can get their sleeves rolled up when fulfilling the requirements of a fast-growing sales order book. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company in its early stages, establish a strong and reactive supply chain and implement growth-robust systems to supply the current high demand from the Californian market.

Role Description

BrandGuard Vents is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Product and Inventory Logistics Manager to oversee inventory levels, production schedules, material forecasting, and overall product readiness. This role is critical in ensuring our product inventory supports operational demand, installer needs, and distributor orders with efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. The full-time (40 hours PW) position is based in Lake Forest, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Product Management

· Monitor inventory levels across all SKUs and warehouse locations.

· Track product movement and forecast restocking needs based on sales projections and seasonal demand.

· Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory management systems.

· Conduct routine cycle counts and resolve discrepancies between physical and digital inventory.

Production Planning

· Manage production schedules in alignment with incoming purchase orders and project timelines.

· Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely availability of components and materials.

· Work with the warehouse team to confirm build-outs and track assembly timelines.

Procurement & Vendor Management

· Place purchase orders for materials and components based on inventory needs and demand forecasts.

· Build strong relationships with vendors, negotiate terms, and monitor vendor performance.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers when needed.

Distributor & Order Fulfilment Support

· Prepare and package inventory for outbound distributor and installer shipments.

· Coordinate with Operations Manager to confirm order accuracy and fulfilment timelines.

· Track backorders and communicate status updates to all relevant stakeholders.

Health and Safety

· Managing all H&S risks within the warehouse and yard, while promoting a safety-first culture.

· Ensuring induction and appropriate training is undertaken with the warehouse team

· Working with PFP H&S manager to undertake audits and inspections.

Quality Control

· Work with production and warehouse teams to ensure products meet quality standards before shipment.

· Identify and report any production or product issues and develop solutions to minimize disruptions.

Data & Reporting

· Maintain dashboards or reports on inventory turnover, reorder points, and low stock alerts.

· Assist with monthly reporting for product availability, shipping timelines, and warehouse metrics.

Collaboration & Office Support

· Work closely with the Operations Manager to align production with active jobs and grant projects.

· Assist the General Manager with product testing, development feedback, and packaging improvements.

· Contribute to general office operations including supplier calls, order inquiries, and occasional customer support.
