Position Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join their materials testing team in San Antonio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials engineering, geotechnical engineering, project management, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. This role requires excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage materials testing projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee the testing and analysis of materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports and documentation.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the materials and geotechnical testing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of materials and geotechnical testing standards and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
