Job Description

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Breast Imaging Radiologist. This role involves interpreting medical images and performing image-guided biopsy procedures to support accurate diagnosis and timely care. The Radiologist will provide clinical recommendations to referring providers, ensuring appropriate follow-up and adherence to American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on patient-centered care and play a key role in the early detection and management of breast health concerns.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a Board-Certified Radiologist with completed fellowship training in Breast Imaging

Duties :

• Interpretation of images, analyzing mammograms, breast ultrasounds, body ultrasounds, pelvic MRIs and breast MRIs to diagnose and identify abnormalities.
• Communicate findings with diagnosis and impressions to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Quality control and assurance to maintain the accuracy and reliability of the medial imaging equipment and process.
• Diagnosing and reporting on a variety of medical conditions and abnormalities based on imaging findings.
• Work collaboratively with referring physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely diagnostic care.
• Interpreting and integrating patients; history and clinical information into diagnostic report.
• Consult with other radiologists or specialists as needed for complex cases.
• Provide guidance to radiology technologist on proper imaging techniques

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Radiology.
• Board certification in Radiology is preferred.
• Proficiency in interpreting CT scans and knowledge of urology, ICU practices, infection control measures, and critical care protocols.
• Experience with PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) procedures is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate diagnosis.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patients.
• Commitment to continuous professional development through clinical research and education.
