Location: Austin, TX — Hybrid/Remote (U.S.-Based) 🇺🇸

Candidates in the greater Austin area preferred, but open to remote applicants across the U.S.

💼 What You'll Do:

As a Senior PR Account Executive, you’ll manage and execute strategic PR initiatives across multiple high-impact accounts in sectors including tech, health, lifestyle and entertainment.

• Develop and lead earned media strategies for client accounts

• Secure high-profile placements across national and local media (TV, podcasts, digital, print)

• Draft press releases, media pitches, opinion editorials, briefing documents, bios, and award/speaking submissions

• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry contacts

• Participate in and occasionally lead client meetings and presentations

• Work closely with cross-functional team members (content, social, creative, video) to deliver integrated campaigns

• Support the mentorship of junior team members and freelancers

• Provide detailed reporting and performance recaps to clients

✨ What We're Looking For:

• 3–5+ years of PR experience (agency preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree (in a related field preferred, e.g., Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing)

• Strong track record of pitching and landing top-tier earned media

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills

• Confident client communication and account management skills

• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to juggle multiple accounts

• Proactive and scrappy problem solver who doesn’t wait to be told what to do

• Working knowledge of media monitoring and database tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Meltwater, Cision)

• A team player who thrives in a fast-moving, remote-first environment

• U.S.-based with availability during Eastern Time business hours

☀️ Compensation & Perks:

• Salary: $65,000-$75,000 USD (commensurate with experience)

• Paid vacation

• Time Off for Holidays: Memorial Day (May 26, 2025), Independence Day/July 4, Labor Day (September 1, 2025), Thanksgiving + the day after, Good Friday, + two flexible days of observance, and a paid break from Christmas Day through New Year’s Day.
