Are you a seasoned accounting professional looking for a flexible and rewarding role? We are seeking a Tax Preparation and Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team! This role offers full-time hours during the busy tax season and part-time hours for the remainder of the year, with the potential to transition into a full-time position year-round.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients.
Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
Review and ensure the accuracy of client financial information.
Assist with tax planning and preparation of quarterly estimates.
Communicate directly with clients to address tax and bookkeeping inquiries.
Stay informed about federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Develop and implement processes to improve team efficiency.
What You Bring
5+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (experience in a public accounting firm is a plus).
Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation, budgeting, account analysis, payroll processing, and general ledger reconciliation.
Proficiency with accounting software, including QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with tax preparation (data entry) is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule
Busy Season (Mid-January to Mid-April): Full-time hours.
Non-Busy Season: Part-time hours, with a majority of work being remote.
Flexible remote work options are available twice a week during the busy season and most of the time during the non-busy season.
