Compa Industries is searching for qualified candidates for a Civil Site Engineer position.
Salary: $90-$95/hr based on experience
Location: Remote with occasional on-site travel
Citizenship: US Citizenship Required
Work Schedule: Full-time |

As a Civil Site Engineer, you will provide essential leadership, support team development, and manage complex land development projects that shape evolving industries. Your technical expertise will directly support national infrastructure and sustainability goals.
Responsibilities And Duties
Lead and coordinate land development and civil engineering design efforts Serve as a technical expert and mentor to engineering staff Oversee project planning, design, and permitting processes Maintain and develop long-term client relationships Support business goals through billable project contributions Manage permitting for stormwater, erosion control, and environmental compliance Travel to project sites and client meetings as required (10–15%)
Minimum Qualifications
Experience working on projects within the Department of Energy (DOE) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience P.E. or E.I.T. certification strongly preferred; must be able to obtain P.E. licensure Technical skills in grading, stormwater management, erosion/sediment control, sewer and utility design Experience in both public and private sector civil/site development Proficient verbal and written communicator across technical and management levels
Desired Skills
Advanced knowledge of permitting for environmental and civil site development projects Familiarity with brownfield sites, power generation, and renewable energy industries Ability to lead cross-functional teams and solve technical challenges Proficiency with civil design and CAD software tools Strong attention to detail and document preparation skills
Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 10 years of related civil engineering experience
