What You'll Do:

As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you'll be the linchpin between project vision and reality. You will:

• Analyze & Assess: Dive deep into project plans, blueprints, and specifications, conducting on-site inspections to determine project scope and identify potential challenges.
• Estimate with Precision: Utilize industry-leading software (The Edge) to generate accurate and competitive estimates for materials, labor, and project costs.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with project managers, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Negotiate & Secure: Develop compelling bid proposals and secure competitive pricing from vendors.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously learn about new roofing technologies, building codes, and industry best practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator (or a similar role) in the construction industry.
• Expertise: A strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, installation techniques, and building regulations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with The Edge estimation software and familiarity with project management tools.
• Analytical Mindset: The ability to produce accurate, data-driven, and competitive estimates.
• Communication Prowess: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Time Management: The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in estimating, roofing systems, or project management.
