Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Forensic Structural Engineer. The role involves day-to-day tasks to support various engineering projects and investigations. Ideal candidates will have a strong structural forensics background.

Qualifications

  • Must posses a PE license and ability to be licensed in multiple states.
  • Strong background in calculations and structural analysis preferred.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) preferred.
  • Experience with forensic investigations and report writing preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct forensic analysis of structural failures and assess damage to buildings and infrastructure.
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings and models.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
  • Apply advanced engineering principles and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to convey technical information clearly.
