Position: Insurance Defense Attorney

Location: Offices in Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, San Francisco, CA

Type: Full-Time | REMOTE

Experience: 3–10 years preferred

A well-established and reputable litigation boutique headquartered in Southern California is seeking a highly motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex insurance-related matters in a collaborative, trial-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent corporate and insurance clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including general liability, premises liability, product liability, and commercial disputes.
• Handle all phases of litigation from inception through trial, including pleadings, discovery, law and motion, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Appear in court for hearings, case management conferences, and trials as needed.
• Prepare legal analyses, reports, and risk assessments for insurance carriers and self-insured clients.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communication.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally with an emphasis in insurance defense, employment, or general liability.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Comfortable handling depositions and court appearances.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working within a collaborative team structure.
